What is KATE?
South Savo easily accessible services model to international comers – paths to entrepreneurship and working life (KATE)
European Social Fund (ESF), ELY Centre for South Savo
What are the project goals?
KATE project has the goal of creating a hybrid (blended) accessibility model whereas services are provided both face to face and on-line, independently from place and time. By combining and strengthening already existing services for international comers in the region of South Savo, the project provides added value to their employment and at the same time supports business growth.
The goal of the project is also to raise awareness and opportunities for companies to internationalize and increase competitiveness in the region by creating a common work platform among different actors (social, economic and the third sector). The blending service model offers customers a tailored educational and employment roadmap based on their unique background and skills.
For whom is the project?
The project is targeted mainly to international comers who live in South Savo region, but also for those who would like to move to this region of Finland and find work or a place for study. Our customers include individuals who have already considerable work experience or who may have only little work experience, as well as individuals who are almost finishing their studies and they are ready to move on in their life.
The other main target group is the companies from South Savo which are in need of international workforce.
